A decent spot if you're looking for a calm nature walk. The trail itself is fairly well-maintained, and I had no trouble following the path. It's mostly a flat track, which is great for people who don’t want anything too strenuous. What I liked most was the serene atmosphere; it's a peaceful place with just the sounds of nature around you. However, there isn’t a lot of diversity in the views along the way—mostly trees and shrubs—so it might not be the most visually exciting walk for some people. The absence of rest areas could be a drawback for those needing a break along the way. Also, if you're into photography, there aren’t many standout spots, but it's still a good place for a quiet walk. Overall, I would recommend it for a quick getaway...

Words cannot describe our experience here. The staff was very knowledgeable. We were here in Feb and got to witness loggerhead hatchlings dig there way to the surface. We also had the chance to touch them and watch them scurry into the ocean. If this wasn't enough we also found out right before we were going to head back to camp that a mother loggerhead had made her way onto the beach and was laying her eggs. So we also got to witness that as well. As we were walking back to the center full of excitement from what we had just witnessed, two little flat back turtle hatchlings (found only in Australia) were trying to make there way to the ocean right in front of us. Would definitely recommend checking this out. One more thing to check off the...

The walking track to the Turtle experience was easy for myself and not too bad for my husband who has an ankle fusion. We also had a wheelchair in our group who managed the track well. It is really well maintained however as you come on to the beach there is an incline and soft sand which my husband found a bit more challenging! We walked to the experience from the Turtle Sands caravan park and in hindsight we should have driven there, as by the time we had walked back my husbands ankle was pretty sore!! Also thank goodness we had taken the torches as after 7.30pm it is total black out to protect the wild life..it was a bit creepy doing the walk back to the caravan park in the pitch black. Fantastic experience, definitely a "bucket...

I’m not going to share the track images, you need to experience this for yourselves, Mon Repos is a paradise without any exaggeration, there is an amphitheatre with an information building to explain all about the area and what it’s for. This place will relax you and bring you back a notch to unwind, it’s nature beautiful beaches hidden gems you will find. A place to respect life and it’s course, sit chill reflect and enjoy .. Mon Repos walking track is my favourite place to ride my electric skateboard, take nothing but a photograph leave nothing but a footprint 👣.. This is the way ..

The track itself is asphalt, so easy walking. Jandals would be fine. Excellent for biking. We walked along the sand one way and the track back. Not a great deal to see but if you wanted a break from the car, it's just fine. Pretty beach. The turtle centre is informative. $14 to go through to the information, otherwise it has some free information a cafe and toilets.

Well organised and nicely set up. Having to wait for your turtles to arrive is expected but there is the museum and shows to help. Booking is recommended as attendance is popular. Once on the beach everything goes well with plenty of chances to see turtles and take photos. Lots of information is available about you particular turtle during the event.
