Beautiful spot to come to. I didn't know about this place until I saw the sign on the main road and thought "why not". Very well grassed picnic areas with shelters scattered around of various vintages. Beautiful elevated outlook over the lake and surrounding ranges. Very well treed and even a cafe. There is a walk over the dam wall across to the other side, which I didn't make across. I'm a bit scared of these places due to the height of the walls, but it's well worth doing.
