Amazing place, wonderful staff, and great good. Coffee is excellent, coffee snob certified by yours truly! We had the burger and some fish and chips, and it was a good meal after a long drive there.

The very quirky Lake Moogerah Cafe is a family owned and Top Gun accented brekkie and lunch venue servicing one side of the picturesque Lake Moogerah. Very cozy inside, with a corner for goodies made by local artisans. Great music as well, and intimate enough for some good conversations with friends.

It also offers wonderful outdoors seating. Plants abound and everything is loved and well maintained. There are even boardgames for folks on the dopamine diet!

Overall an amazing place to relax and have a lovely chat. While it is the only place out there, the folks who run it certainly have not tested on their laurels. Will...

We were so excited to go to the cafe and buy ice-creams for the kids. Between all of us buying ice cream and merch, we paid about $100. The man who served us was fabulous and our icecreams delicious. Unfortunately it was ten minutes before closing and the man’s wife was very rude to us to the point where she videotaped us on her phone without permission while we had a lovely chat with her husband. I mistakenly thought she was filming because it was such a lovely interaction with the man telling us all about his son the fighter pilot who just flew over. When one of the kids asked why she was videoing, she replied that it was so she could prove that he wasn’t packing up and doing all his jobs. We couldn’t have been made to feel more unwelcome. Really...

The new owners seem to be trying to bring a Brisbane style cafe to the country and I cannot see it working. I went out there last weekend hoping for some home made lasagna like the previous owners sold, but of the 5 things on the lunch menu 3 started with the word falafel.

The large soft drink fridge is gone leaving you with 6 choices 3 being pepsi. In the end I could find nothing I wanted to eat, if I want a yuppy meal I will go to brisbane, they should serve hearty meals as one would come to expect in the country.

I also noted that on the saturday only one elderly couple were seated at the cafe despite it being lunch time and many cars on site, this should tell the owners they may be on...

One of the hidden gems in the scenic rim, great atmosphere and service, good food. Dia's Pecan pie is so perfectly delicious, using traditional Canadian recipe and it is made with gluten free pastry, coffee is best too. The service is genuinely friendly and I heard great laughter from the staff, they must enjoy working there. Whoever is the owner they done well in creating such a positive atmosphere for staff and customers. The greenery and quirky vintage tables and umbrellas are a nice touch creating a wonderful vibe and spectacular views of lake is cherry on top. Worth a detour!

My husband and I celebrated his birthday by having breakfast at the Lake Moogerah Café. The staff are really lovely. The food is fantastic. Our breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. They brought a delicious slice of chocolate cake with a candle in it for my husband and sang happy birthday! The best thing about this place is that they are dog friendly. They always bring our small dog with us when going there. The thing I love the most is that they have a delicious range of homemade cakes, slices and biscuits.
