Amazing place, wonderful staff, and great good. Coffee is excellent, coffee snob certified by yours truly! We had the burger and some fish and chips, and it was a good meal after a long drive there.
The very quirky Lake Moogerah Cafe is a family owned and Top Gun accented brekkie and lunch venue servicing one side of the picturesque Lake Moogerah. Very cozy inside, with a corner for goodies made by local artisans. Great music as well, and intimate enough for some good conversations with friends.
It also offers wonderful outdoors seating. Plants abound and everything is loved and well maintained. There are even boardgames for folks on the dopamine diet!
Overall an amazing place to relax and have a lovely chat. While it is the only place out there, the folks who run it certainly have not tested on their laurels. Will...
Read moreWe were so excited to go to the cafe and buy ice-creams for the kids. Between all of us buying ice cream and merch, we paid about $100. I mistakenly thought she was filming because it was such a lovely interaction with the man telling us all about his son the fighter pilot who just flew over. When one of the kids asked why she was videoing, she replied that it was so she could prove that he wasn’t packing up and doing all his jobs. We couldn’t have been made to feel more unwelcome. Really...

The large soft drink fridge is gone leaving you with 6 choices 3 being pepsi. In the end I could find nothing I wanted to eat, if I want a yuppy meal I will go to brisbane, they should serve hearty meals as one would come to expect in the country.
I also noted that on the saturday only one elderly couple were seated at the cafe despite it being lunch time and many cars on site, this should tell the owners they may be on...
