🌿🌟 Evening Stroll at Anderson Botanical Gardens, Pimlico — A Hidden Tropical Haven 🌟🌿 We took an evening walk through Anderson Botanical Gardens in Pimlico with our house-sit mini Husky — and were absolutely charmed! The landscaping is beautifully designed, with themed gardens featuring everything from vibrant tropical blooms to majestic native Australian and exotic tree species. We were thrilled to discover a Bo Tree of Enlightenment, radiant African Tulip Tree bursting with fiery orange blossoms, rare palms, and graceful bamboo groves that swayed gently in the breeze. As night fell, a surprise visitor — a cheeky possum — peeked out from one of the tall trees, sending our mini Husky into joyful tugs on the leash, much to Dennis’s amusement! Perfect for a peaceful stroll, gentle exercise, and quiet appreciation of nature's diversity. A true botanical treasure right in the heart of Townsville — not just for plant lovers, but for families, walkers, and well-behaved furry friends too. 🌸🐾🌙 Thank you Mr Anderson.

Lovely big gardens with ponds and ducks. You can drive the whole way around or park the car and enjoy exploring the different landscapes. Make sure you bring water bottles and food. Didn't see any toilets there.

This is a great place to take a walk around the incredible tree collection including avenues of palms and a Pandanus collection that is top-notch!

I practice yoga with Skilful Living at 9am Tue & Fri every week at Anderson Gardens. It is a beautiful location to relax in and take a pleasant stroll. The big shady trees cool the gardens down and there is plenty of room for kids to play. The Council regularly maintains the area and keeps it at a high standard. Plenty of birdlife...

Really a big lawn, very peacefully. There is a garden thing open Tuesday's till 2:30 which looked neat but otherwise it's basically a lawn with a few palm trees. Not quite sure if it deserves to be...
