I’ve been a customer for literally decades, over 30 years. They’ve always had a great reputation and Nick who remembers every order without writing it down. My favourite was the crumbed bug tails. Expensive but great. It was obvious it was all bug meat by the varied shapes. But last time we got fish, bugs, prawns and chips the bugs certainly weren’t whole bug tails but small pieces of meat with a combination of heavy batter around them to make a shape like a big potato scallop. Really disappointing and unusual for Kings Road. Is there new owners or cooks? Because my 9th July order really did disappoint in regard to the bugs. Happy to pay...
