Very enjoyable wine tasting, we paid $10 and got to 10 wines (4 whites, 4 reds, and 2 dessert wines) which was one of the cheapest and more enjoyable wine tastings I’ve ever been so was rather surprised. The wines were not too bad and it was indoors since the vines were still growing during the winter period. The guide, Sandro (hope I’m spelling it right), was very nice and hospitable, answering our many wine-related questions. Recommended vineyard for a visit if you’re in this area and at Canberra

Jeir Creek Winery is on a lovely little hill with gorgeous views. The wine was DELICIOUS—the best I’ve had in the Canberra region! The tasting was a wonderful experience—so many wines (9? I lost count!), patient and friendly service, and a tasty cheese plate. I’ll definitely be going back!

After visited the beautiful winery, i tried the list of various wine-20 years Merlot , 20 years Shiraz, ...... I would say every glass is really tasty and good. This time I take away a bottle of favourite Rose and will come back with friends again.

My husband and I visited this winery on Saturday the 30th of April 2022.

As we approached the entrance to the cellar door/shop? We were greeted with barely any acknowledgement from the staff member. Just an FYI for future people interested in tasting wines here. The fee is $10 pp for about 10 wines. The sparkling was drizzled into our cup at body temperature. The next two were just forgettable. Sad and acetony. The same staff member just stated the name of the wine he poured and no more. Not a single description of the wine or where the grapes are from. Just nothing. He just stood there and stared at us drinking. My husband had to cut the tasting short because of how awkward it was having someone just burn their eyes through our souls.

This guy just did not get a hint. He still charged us the full amount which was crazy. My husband returned the next day to speak with the same man to discuss the issues further and was told the machines could not process refunds on tastings??!! And he was given a bottle of wine we didn't even like instead. The first three were bad so this one will probably be the same. I will get my husband to leave a review too. By the sounds of it, the surrounding wineries know this place won't last long. So I'm very happy...

Every since the old owner is not responsible for wine tasting (which I assume he has retired) this winery is totally ruined.

It has long been assumed that wine tasting could have a few but can be waived upon a purchased- THIS HAS BEEN THE TRADITION FOR LONG! Yesterday we were there for the famous botrytis and was CHARGED $15 per person UPON A PURCHASE OF APPROX $300 of wine.

The winery is also ruined by the 2 ladies on duty. They are exceptionally UNPROFESSIONAL when conducting wine tasting- no guides, no explanations and no discussions at all- they just pour the wine, sit back there chatting each other. BY NO CHANCE THEY KNOW THEIR WINES.

The tasting room was fully filled with incense aroma- THIS IS A CELLAR DOOR YEAH? The incense smell will not allow people to smell the wine itself!!!

I knew the old owner for quite a few years and this is not the way we’d expect by any chance. The botrytis was very nice but should not be ruined by such unprofessional experience.

DISAPPOINTED. Got the wines I love but never gonna return. Upon our leaving the ladies asked for a rating- here you go, my truly...

Anurag when asked about a tasting on a Monday afternoon so that we could celebrate our daughter's birthday was so accommodating providing a personal tasting for four with 10 wines tasted and an in-depth description on each one followed by a tour of the winery and cellar and then a stroll across the property as he enthusiastically explained the future plans in-store for this lovely vineyard made the day so special. This winery should be on everybody's list if fine wine in a relaxed atmosphere is what you need. Thank you Anurag for a...
