Bombo Beach is without a doubt one of the most stunning beaches in Kiama—rugged, expansive, and incredibly scenic. It’s also a fantastic spot for experienced surfers, with consistent waves and plenty of space to catch a break without the crowds. However, it's important to note that this beach is not patrolled (unless it’s summer) and the presence of strong rips makes it unsuitable for inexperienced swimmers. One of the best and more peaceful beaches in the Wollongong area. Parking is allowed until 9pm after which the gate closes so you can't access the beach after that time. The beach is just a 4 minute drive to Bombo Station, however if you drive from Bombo station to the beach, it will take you around 7 minutes to reach.
