The resort was simply a pleasure to stay at. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The reception was a little hard to find at first, but hotel staff pointed me in the right direction. My room was spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable. The balcony view over the resort grounds was wonderful. Note: I read several very negative reviews of this property, but my honest opinion is that they were either unlucky in getting a room that didn't meet their expectations, or that they are very harsh critics of all their hotel experiences. Never mind, I loved this resort, it's location and facilities. I went for a swim in the nearest pool, but there are a total of 3 resort pools to choose from. The resort grounds are magnificent, and I did a beautiful coastal walk from Charlesworth Bay Beach to Korora Beach and back. There was a lot of things to see and do at the resort. I loved the variety of beautiful native wildlife such coastal birds (Including bush turkeys) and plenty of coastal lizards. The resort is only a few minutes north of a large shopping centre (Park Beach Plaza) and other Coffs Harbour tourist facilities. There is a restaurant there where many guests appeared to enjoy their meals. All in all I loved the Charlesworth Bay Beach Resort

A wild and untamed beach, while beautiful it is a dangerous beach and I'd caution people to swim there with kids anywhere outside the patrolled area. The beach also had a foul smell which was quiet nauseating.

Great beach with strong current. Not the best one for little ones, but would be ok for playing at shallow area . Sands are yellowish soft colour. There is a large carpark and a viewing platform and toilets.

A pretty beach which is usually not too busy. It is patrolled down the southern end usually. There are several rips along the beach so be careful.

You can access the beach from a couple of carparks, or via a walking track on the northern end. Access is also available from the Aanuka Beach Resort on the northern end if you're...

Beautiful spot not far from town. Great for a paddle or a swim but It is also popular with surfers. You can easily walk the entire length of the beach or if you want a little more challenge you can also complete steep the walk over McAuleys Headland that links up with Park Beach. One of my favourite...
