A fantastic new playground that is situated right on Lake Macquarie. The playground is a pirate theme and features and accessible pirate ship complete with slides and rope ladders and a ramp for those unable to use the ladders. There is a water play zone as well as BBQ areas and new toilets. There's also a large grassed area and plenty of parent seating. The entire park is fenced and there is plenty of parking. A must for any parent of a primary school aged child in the Lake Mac area 🏴‍☠️

What a great park. Water play. Wheel chair accessible. Large format allows children to be free while being in a fenced area as the dogs play nearby. A long awaited upgrade that looks great and will be great for the kids for years to come. Bathrooms and Bbqs have not been forgotten in the upgrade either. Getting locked out of the car here was not an issue Access Now Newcastle was there to help in no time. Number attached if anyone needs it.

Great park for the 2-6 age group. 4 year old is in his element with the pirate ship, room to run and room for hide and go seek. A well laid out park for keeping your eye on multiple children at once. My 9 year old wasn't excited by what the park had to offer on the equipment side of things however made fun of her own on the rocks with an challenge.

Pleasant park with plenty to offer. It is wheelchair and pram friendly, quite extensive with plenty of room for walking, cycling, ballgames on mown grass, playground equipment, toilets and more. What more you ask? There is a great boat ramp, a stunningly beautiful lake, bar-b-que facilities, tables and seating, shady trees and still more. If you want to know more come and experience it for youself. You can even bring your dog.

The council has built a huge playground suited to children from toddlers up. It is very elaborate and has many different sections. It seems an instant hit so parking can be a challenge. The playground is fully safety fenced. Public...

Great park with a large playground and an excellent assortment of equipment. There are public toilets, bubblers, and many walking paths. A dog park, skate park, open flat grass area, large carpark, beautiful foreshore, seated and sheltered areas can be found scattered throughout this foreshore reserve. A bbq area and a wall for ball sports can be found near the end with the boat ramp. There was many areas throughout the park today that were very water logged due to the recent rain. The small garden area behind the childrens water play area was flooded with run off and...

Large space for a gathering and adventure. The southern end of the park has a small parking area next to the small oval. It has quick access to the enclosed dog park. Off the main entry is parking, a skatepark, fitness area and enclosed playground. Drinking water and bathrooms here as well. The northern parking area is ideal for walks along the foreshore, access to the boat ramp and jetty as well as the undercover picnic tables. The paths around the open timed dog park are great for a stroll. The youth initiative pathway is a little worn but you can still see some of the...
