Absolutely beautifully laid out. The plunge pools are a bit on the chilly side, but it's a spectacular swim over to the waterfall. The upper pool is a 2.6km grade 3 hike, which sadly was a bit too much for us to try. The lower pool is only 150m from the kiosk and car park. The pools are open daily from 7am to 7pm.

There's a grassy area where you can have a BBQ with picnic tables, toilets and showers. There's also a kiosk with food, coffee, and cold drinks. We had the Works Burger 🍔 which was delicious.

We went on a week day outside of school holidays so it wasn't too busy and there was ample parking. Bus and caravan parking available as well for a day trip.

There is also a caravan park there that needs to be booked online. Obviously, since it's a national park, no pets...

We started our day first hiking to Sweetwater Pool which is a 8.6 km return hike, this hike has a couple of sections which are a bit of a rock scramble, the swim here is stunning and spacious. We then returned using the Leliyn Loop and went through the Upper Pool which was probably the most amazing falls and swimming area, though quite busy! The day use area have BBQ’s and toilets and if you are not wanting to hike you can still go to the main Plunge Pool which is a refreshing swim. Get here early to explore the area and we got a caravan park due to getting here early.

An amazing set of pools to swim in and the wild life is incredible, if you are lucky you will see one of the water monitors casually walking about and and even hunting frogs and fish. We saw a red tailed snake eyed skink and a juvenile Northern Brown snake. Do not worry they have interest in you and are just going about their business. The walk up to the pools can be quite hot on a sunny day but it isn't very long and you'll be in the cool water of the pools. The walk back down is much easier, the little shop in the carpark has cold drinks and water etc. Worth seeing. Great...

Beautiful place. We swam in the main Edith falls, did the upper pool and a few more on the loop walk. To stay here you NEED to book online, they do not have service here for most providers. You also NEED a parks pass to book. Recommend sorting this out before you go because it’s a hassle to do while ur there. Lady at the front office was quite frank, stern and mean when we asked questions, she was either having a bad day or is sick of hospitality. At the office u get slight service though. Toilets were generally clean. But overall the falls and the rest was amazing.
