Jenny Dixon Beach, a spot steeped in history and mystery, has an intriguing story behind its name. Some say it's named after a shipwreck that occurred many years ago. According to this account, a ship called the Janet Dixon ran aground near the beach, and over time, the beach adopted the name of the ill-fated vessel, weaving the story into local lore. Another, more popular version, ties the name to a ghost story, adding a layer of eerie fascination to the area. Whether named after a shipwreck or connected to local legend, Jenny Dixon Beach carries a sense of mystery and history that makes it an interesting and unique destination.

This a beautiful beach with surrounding cliffs. Currently the stairs are under repair and access is only by clambering over the rocks from neighbouring beaches. Be aware there are rocks hidden amongst the waves so enter the water carefully and swim with care. It can get quite wavey and there are no lifesavers so know your limits. The rocks and cliffs add a sense of isolation, although you are rarely alone here. There is plenty of beach so you would be able to find your own bit of space. Look closely for Little caves and colourful little rocks in the bigger rocks.

A great little beach in the central coast with an amazing view of the Norah Head light house. The rock formations are interesting. Watch out for the jelly fish if you are getting into the water.

Came looking for the Jenny Dixon ghost but no luck. Where is the beach? The sand? I came at low tide and there were just rocks to traverse. Otherwise it was quiet and sombre. A nice place to reflect without disturbance. Be mindful though of the steep climb. A lot of stairs and slippery...
