Fabulous 👌 Not your typical museum. Here you are encouraged to pick up the ball and chain, once used by the convicts, it is HEAVY! Attracts have been donated by local residents and there is so so much to see that one visit is not enough. A must to visit while on Norfolk. Excellent value!!!

Lots of stuff to see.. Being named the "Bounty Museum", I assumed it was all to do with the Bounty & all the other penal colony stuff... Wrong.. It has all that but more.. If you think about an Australian country rural museum & then add the penal colony early settlement stuff, you've got it.

We went to the museum on our last day on the island, having spent a week there.. I was pretty "convicted out" by then, so I wasn't that keen, but the wife was interested . I'm...
