This is a 2.5 hour walk for fit, able people. Not to be mixed up with Wirrawilla walk which is easy and suitable for the less able. The signage on the Myrtle Gully circuit is terrible and it is easy to make a wrong turn. You won't know where the carpark is until you stumble upon it. There are regular snake sightings (wear long pants and boots) and if you stand in the one spot for more than a minute, the leeches will find your ankles (take salt or vinegar for the leeches). All that said, it was a great walk. There was lots of mud and plenty of timber debris to climb over, which can be challenging. If you are not an attentive person, take enough food for a month, because the signage is woeful. Dist to carpark? Not required, apparently. Regards, David Ps. It appears Alexandra's review below is the Wirrawilla walk, not the Myrtle Gully Circuit because you need to be able to climb over and under trees on the MG Circuit..(also slosh through...

Beautiful walk on the myrtle gully circuit: 45 mins around a flat platform/decking so very safe, suitable for kids, and those unsteady on their feet. We went after it had rained so the other tracks were very muddy but if anything it improved our walk as the river was more full. Well signposted. Huge ferns and beautiful forest with information signs dotted around. Peaceful...

Gorgeous walk with added leeches...

Lovely walk, signs a little unclear but reasonably well maintained.

Unfortunately a few parts were muddy and I think that's where the leeches were hiding. Nothing too dramatic but still unpleasant.

Probably lower risk in dryer and...

Lovely short, 1km walk through dense forest. Pram friendly with a path. There is also two options for an 8km or a 10km loop if you're feeling more adventurous, but I'd recommend hiking or outdoor footwear and it's not pram accessible.

The Tanglefoot Track circuit (15km) is one of my favourite walks. Also a great one to do in winter, when it's misty along the tracks. You may be lucky and see a Lyrebird. There is also a smaller loop you can do.
