This is a 2.5 hour walk for fit, able people. Not to be mixed up with Wirrawilla walk which is easy and suitable for the less able. The signage on the Myrtle Gully circuit is terrible and it is easy to make a wrong turn. You won't know where the carpark is until you stumble upon it. There are regular snake sightings (wear long pants and boots) and if you stand in the one spot for more than a minute, the leeches will find your ankles (take salt or vinegar for the leeches). All that said, it was a great walk. There was lots of mud and plenty of timber debris to climb over, which can be challenging. If you are not an attentive person, take enough food for a month, because the signage is woeful. Dist to carpark? Not required, apparently. Regards, David Ps. Lovely walk, signs a little unclear but reasonably well maintained.
Unfortunately a few parts were muddy and I think that's where the leeches were hiding. Nothing too dramatic but still unpleasant.
