Nice beach, can drive 4wd and have a campsite, but some dckheads chose to do skids in the middle of the night on the beach.. (we were camping on the campsite). One of them ruined their car when we saw it in the morning which served them right I suppose. Hopefully more rangers come to check after hours because these behaviors just ruin other people’s peaceful evening.

Google Maps is taking you to the wrong Beach. You need to turn down Hannah Parade at One Mile to access the patrolled end of One Mile Beach. The Samurai Beach 4WD track is a deep sand track that can only be accessed by a 4WD DO NOT ENTER THIS TRACK WITHOUT A 4WD to avoid getting bogged and a costly pull out fee. Honestly, one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen in a long time. Fun access to beach via 4WD. Lovely sand, no rocks in the water when swimming, no sudden drop offs. Swam at the northern end of the beach. No shade what so ever so bring it with you or you'll get...
