Amazing beach / camp, an experience worth doing - camping is FREE as well. Location is off Gan Gan road next to Tree Top, it’s hard to spot but it’s a sand road. Before you go, make sure you have a 4WD car, and reduce tire pressure to 16% - this isn't optional, you'll 100% get stuck if you don't do this. There's no bathrooms, so you may need to get creative.
The nudist thing is fine, it’s really embraced and seems normal.
I was a bit put off my how territorial people are, there’s clearly a crew that lives there for the summer so you almost feel like you’re encroaching in their space - I’d recommend getting there pretty early to set up your camp and to get a spot for your car.
We were on the beach and came back to someone moving our (very small) tent. Read moreNudist beach? Or 4WD RALLY BEACH? Our hotel had a sandy way to the beach, and it was like walking in the desert under the almighty hot sun which burnt our skin! The sand was so soft and our feet went in to the depth, so it was very hard to walk, and also the walkway was shard with 4WD pathway, which scared us and we had to give way to them by going to the sand hills! It was awful, and in the beach there was a 4WD rally and it was close for them to destroy our bag and crush our sunglasses and phones when we were swimming! And we couldn’t help going to the ocean as our skin was burning and we needed to cool down after the long walk! Needn’t to say that we were the only 2 people swimming and there was a nudist old man with his car who followed me, and I was scared, and had to stick to my man all the time! I can’t describe enough how difficult it was to go back and how much we regret...
