The Henry Parkes Centre is located at 66-78 Peak Hill Rd,Parkes NSW 2870.
As this was a nominated Driver Reviver, stop off. My wife & I stopped to enjoy a cup of tea.
We were more than impressed to come across that the Henry Parker Centre had a museum with Elvis Presley memorabilia inside the main building.
The cost to see this exhibition is $10.00.
There is an outside area where this is a replica set of the Graceland Gates & information about the King of Rock & Roll.
There is also a designated area of people in the Australian musical industry past & present who have their names aside from the Graceland Gates.
That is definitely a wonderful place to recognise the contribution that all these people have made in their lives 😀
The Henry Parker Centre is an information centre where staff can help you & provide you with brochures & maps of the surrounding areas of Parkes.
Well worth the stop off from driving to see this community based...
Read moreThe Henry Parkes Museum is a fantastic local museum which shows how the local Parkes people lived, worked and played in the past. There are a lot of exhibits inside and outside which will keep the visitor engaged for hours. I was at the museum for 3 hours taking all the exhibits in. The museum is definitely worth a visit.
Keep in mind that I am reviewing the Henry Parkes Museum run by local volunteers and not the King’s Castle (Elvis) and the Parkes Motor Museum which are separate to Henry...

It’s good to see that it’s very well maintained and the plaques are still there but it would have nice if it was owned by the...
