I can’t say enough good things about our experience at this ski lodge. From the moment we arrived, Chris went out of his way to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and completely taken care of, even though we arrived very late at night. Whether it was helping us sort out our gear, recommending the best local slopes for our skill levels, or making sure we make the most of our stay—they were always one step ahead and genuinely happy to help.
It wasn’t just the professionalism that stood out, it was the warmth. Every staff member we encountered—from Chris to the ladies to the chef—treated us like more than just guests. They checked in on how our day was going, and even made thoughtful little adjustments to make our stay smoother (like offering a snow ride and letting us leave our luggages in their snow vehicle so we can enjoy one full day after check out).
The lodge itself was cozy, clean, and had all the charm you’d want in a mountain retreat, but it was the people who made it exceptional. Their level of care and attentiveness turned a great ski trip into a truly memorable experience.
If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated like family while enjoying world-class skiing and relaxing accommodations, this is it. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be recommending this lodge to everyone we know!

Read moreWe made a last-minute decision to head up to the snow because of the big storm and booked three nights at Peer Gynt Lodge without expecting much — but it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise!
First of all, the location is great. It’s up on the Perisher mountain and is (almost) ski-in ski-out. In the morning you can either walk to the lifts or get a snowcat ride, and in the afternoon you can ski back to the lodge.
The best part is that breakfast and dinner are included. After a long, exhausting day of skiing, all I wanted was a hot shower and maybe a glass of wine. The lodge has a super cozy lounge with a fireplace burning every evening. By the time you’re done with your shower, dinner is ready — and it’s a proper three-course meal! Every single meal turned out to be delicious and satisfying, We had dishes like risotto, chicken breast, beef stew, salmon — with starters, mains, and desserts that changed every day. Drinks are extra, but the wine selection was very nice too.
Breakfast was also excellent with hot meals, great quality, and fresh orange juice every morning.
Great team of staff, always friendly and helpful!
On the last night, we even discovered there’s pool table , arcade games, and sauna room downstairs!
Highly recommended — would...
Read moreAn Unforgettable Family Stay at Peer Gynt Ski Lodge Our family had an incredible stay at Peer Gynt Ski Lodge in Perisher — truly one of our best holidays ever. From the moment we arrived, the hosts — Chris, Maya, Olivia, Chef Ben and Kai — were so friendly, thoughtful and genuinely caring. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them; they made us feel so welcome and special. The rooms were warm, cosy and very comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing — honestly worthy of a Michelin Star. The wine selection was just as impressive — carefully chosen, with a great range available from numerous well-established estates, making every meal even more special. The lodge has stunning views, a beautiful lounge with a fireplace, a relaxing sauna, and a fun games room with a pool table and arcade machine — our kids loved every minute! We also loved the true ski-in, ski-out access. It’s just a short ski to the T-bar that connects to Front Valley, or a quick 5-minute Can-Am shuttle ride that made us feel like VIPs — so much fun! We can’t thank the hosts enough for making this such a memorable stay. They helped create one of our fondest family memories that we will treasure forever. Highly,...
