Pretty Valley Kiosk — Local services in Perisher Valley

I cannot express enough gratitude to Narissa and Paul, the incredible owners of Pretty Valley Kiosk at Perisher. Today we had a situation where my son got lost on the slopes, and the kindness and compassion they showed us were truly heartwarming.

When my son come and seeing help at the kiosk, Narissa and Paul immediately took action. They called me promptly to ensure he was safe and reassured me that everything would be fine. While he waited for my husband to pick him up, they went above and beyond by offering him a delicious hot chocolate, which was a comforting gesture that meant the world to us both.

Their genuine care and thoughtfulness turned a potentially stressful situation into a reminder of the kindness that still exists in the world. It's rare to find people who are not only passionate about their business but also genuinely caring about the community and people around them.

Pretty Valley Kiosk is not just a place with great food and drinks; it is a haven of warmth and hospitality, run by truly wonderful individuals. Carried my keep cup all over the mountain and have used it at at least 3 other outlets… both Perisher owned (that I work at) and private… but disappointed to find these guys flatly refused to let me use my own cup… even Mac Donald’s dropped that covid rule early 2022… I guess the owners are older folk… but in that case surprising they take cash. I would have not gotten anything, as a result, but the coffee was already poured/request processed/single use trash cup already wasted. Reducing waste is the least this useless human can do. The plastic chocolate wrappers will be going to coles to be recycled by red cycle.

I thought it was a simple and easy request… wasn’t expecting to be met with such...

Sooo nice especially on a cold, misty, snowy day in the snowfields…
