I've done a fair bit of hikes around Perth but I've not got lost like I did with this one :D Instead of doing 5km we managed to do 10! We didn't do a good research beforehand and started off the hike from this point here rather than Rocky Pool and NP PARKING AREA. Then we struggled to find track markers as well as pool itself. On our way we ran into few families asking us where the pool is. After going back and forth few times we managed to find pool but on our way back we ended up in Kalamunda car park (where we didn't park) and then had to find our way back along side another couple. Read moreIt is a great walk trail to follow but we were less prepared this time. I downloaded the trail PDF without the legend (instructions how to follow the trail). Also instead of following the trail clockwise, we did it counter clockwise. We got completely lost somewhere between #5 and #4 (see photo's of pdf map and my phone tracker). It would have been nice if there were more signs around the track. I am sure that following the track as per the instructions, it would have been easier and we will go back to do it again the right way. All we could do was turn around and take the same way as how we came.
