Beautiful hike with a great mix of beach, coastal and forest environs to enjoy and get enveloped in. Rated moderate because of occasional signage/navigation difficulty, beach-sand walking at high tide, and absence of any available drinking water from South Durras to Maloney's Beach. The campgrounds are pretty good. We stayed at Depot Beach and Oakey Beach sites. Depot Beach has water, showers, flush toilets. Oakey Beach has two drop toilets as their only facility. If you're hiking in any sort of temperature we'd advise carrying at least 4L and preferably 6L of water if you're doing the South Durras - Maloney's Beach segment and staying overnight on the way. Fortunately you can fill up with clean drinking water for free at the NRMA Campground at South Durras, at the bar near the café in the grounds. If you're double-shuffling with cars, its an hour's drive from Maloney's Beach end to Pretty Beach end via the highway, Bawley Point and Kioloa. Parking at Maloney's Beach is free, but Pretty Beach parking is in the National Park and is $8/day but you can't buy multi-day parking. If you're doing a multi-day walk your only option is to get an annual pass to NSWNP for $22 - get it at the office at the park. And while the beaches are south-coast-cold, they're mighty refreshing! Choose your swim spot carefully. They can get...
