Also one of my favorite beaches on the island. It’s a bit more low-key than the popular southern beaches, but that’s what makes it special. The white sand and clear blue water are gorgeous, and it’s usually less crowded, which gives it a peaceful vibe.
The beach itself is pretty small, but there are a few rocky shaded spots, perfect if you’re not a fan of too much sun. The sand is super soft, and the waves are gentle, so it’s comfy for swimming or just floating around.

Read moreThis beach is gorgeous, white sand a crystal clear water. We went on the sunniest day and yet the water was ice cold so if you’re overheating get in! Much like some of the other beaches on the island there’s little shade so bring what you need to protect yourself from the sun.
The area is surrounded by sand dunes that people are encouraged to not climb, and across the road from the bus stop is Baghdad lake which is also cool to see. Only issue is there is nowhere to change clothes or bathrooms. I would check which way the wind is blowing because if you get the wrong wind this could be quite choppy.
