Geordie Bay — Local services in Rottnest Island

A truely wonderful service to boaties, vacationers and day trippers visiting stunning Geordie bay. Always reliable food and drinks are provided from early morning to 4pm (at which time tables are progressively closed and reserved ready for the a la carte dinner service that starts at 5pm. 4 nights a week. Great food and coffee, many healthy real fruit smoothies and juices as well as beer, wine and cocktails all provided with a smile, even when it becomes ridiculously busy over the Christmas season. Situated right next to the supermarket and laundromat it's the heart and soul of Geordie Bay's commercial centre. They are very helpful too, for example giving helpful items to local boaties in need and providing extra services like giving access to their big blue bin (behind the sliding gate near the entrance - see picture) So that socially conscious locals can recycle their 10 cent cans and bottles. They even donate the money raised to the Rottnest Foundation or the Scouts a truly great thing to do. ( Especially since the Rottnest Board bureaucrats are taking so long to introduce their own version of this arrangement at the public bin service at the jetty...

Geordie Bay offers a beautiful sandy beach with a peaceful atmosphere, especially in the mornings when it's less crowded. It's a great spot for families with kids, providing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Perfect for a calm, enjoyable day...
