Stunning lookout! I went just before the sun set, it added a nice glow despite being on the opposite side (can only imaging it'd make a nice sunrise spot) there's an area where you can watch the sunset near the car park which looks lovely as it sets over the water. The path takes you down to the lookout but if you're careful there's a few other spots you can walk to, just don't go too far! There's a touching memorial to those that had died at/near wave lookout, i'm guessing they were all surfers. Heaps of car parking, don't have to walk far at all to get to...
Read moreThe place offers a fantastic view of the ocean, especially during sunset. It’s peaceful and relatively easy to access, which makes it a great stop if you're touring the area. I spent about 20 minutes here just soaking in the view. There are some pathways that could use a bit more attention as they were slightly uneven, but overall it’s well worth a visit. There is a sign at the start of the path Warning you of the unfenced cliff edges. If you take care, this is not a difficult extension to the walk, and you will be rewarded with some absolutely breathtaking views.
