Absolutely loved visiting Stories from the Road Museum in Port Pirie! Despite the name, it’s so much more than just road transport history. The museum houses an incredible collection of artifacts and memorabilia dating back to the 1800s — from vintage vehicles and machinery to household items, tools, and personal stories that paint a vivid picture of life through the generations. Every corner of the museum has something fascinating to discover, and you can truly feel the dedication and passion behind it. It’s a treasure trove of local and national history, and a great way to step back in time. Highly recommended...

There was a lot of interesting stuff in there. The toy museum was probably my favourite, and at the back of the toy museum, you will be able to see rare and collectable McDonalds happy meal toys from movies and tv shows like The Amazing World Of Gumball, Sing, Ice Age, Peter Rabbit, and others. The cars were very interesting and cool aswell, but the thing that upset me is that there wasn't a VHS and DVD museum which will be nice for the kids now days to look at. If they were gonna make a VHS museum, I'd be happy to donate some of my VHS tapes I own. Although, really fun...

If you want to see something unique head to Stories From The Road Museum in port Pirie and check out the 1909 Farina RoadTrain powered by a Damlier Renard its set among a great range of vehicles from 3 wheeled tugs to semis and buses and some miliary vehicles.Some amasng trucks and utes from the 20s through to the 80s.Apart from these vehicles there are 2 large sheds filled with Garagenalia,model cars and household items youll also find toys of yesteryear and a huge doll display with hundreds of Barbie dolls. Something for just...
