Had a great time - was a nice fun walk! Not too hard, there are some decent stairs but you can just take your time and climb slowly. It is quiet short maybe 1-1/2 hr up and back down so don’t need to get to stressed if you take breaks. If you’re relatively fit you will have no issue. We climbed in the busy Easter weekend and in the sun and it didn’t make it too difficult nor super busy , the sun made the water look super blue. The view from the top is nice and many spots to take photos without having to wait for people. There is a juice cart at the bottom and it’s super refreshing would recommend when you accomplish the walk.

An exhaustive climb through some lovely native forest. There is definitely a great sense of achievement once you make it to the Mt Coolum summit. We did not find it that difficult but did have to take several breaks on the assent. The pathways and especially the stairs have been expertly designed and maintained. There is parking at the base of the walking track. Beautiful scenery at the lookout, well worth the effort.

We climbed this mountain 17.06.2024. Expected sunrise was about 6:30am. Started climbing at 6:08am so we had to hurry. The way to summit is quite steeper than I thought but not too dangerous and many locals climb fast as their exercise. Fortunately we made to the summit before the sunrise. I strongly recommend you to bring lantern to better vision because it is quite dark before sunrise🙂

Exceptional views over the ocean down and up the coast along with the Glass House Mountains on the otherside. Climb is a real heart starter and can be slippery when its wet. Takes anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes hike up from the carpark depending on your level of fitness. I managed to do it in about 12 minutes this morning which was hard. It was stormy so quite cool. Will do it again in a few days in the Sun. #LetsGuide #hike #bushwalk #mtcoolum...

Would recommend carrying double the water you think you might need. If you do find yourself with left-over water, you could always choose a plant to assist. Achieved the summit without oxygen, other than what I could find in the air. Coming down was touch and go, as I got lost and had to ask for directions from the lovely people at the IGA. Picked up milk, too, at a reasonable price, so I guess you could say 'worth going out of...
