A bit too crowded and "sporty" for my liking. I come to parks to avoid (an abundance of) people, pets and the likes. Just avoid it in the weekends and weekdays after 4pm. That's when the park is really nice and attractive as it's emptier.
Thanks to the relatively high elevation, you can see the Sydney skyline faintly in the distance. There is an abundance of birds which flock in the area (namely pigeons, ravens and magpies) where you can feed and/or watch them (although bird feeding is not encouraged).
P.S. Pick up your dog poo, to all you brazen dog owners. The pavements are scattered...
