Nice area for a long walk Only hassle is where you park the car and had to walk a long way towards the coast. But good exercise for those that wanted a long walk, even spotted whales.
There are better areas, and this Cape Banks walking track and fire trail is good for hiking or bush walking.

Read moreWe were keen to do the the Cape Banks Walking track parked in the carpark near the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter base. We followed the Cape Banks Firetrail until we reached the start of the Cape Banks Walking Track, passing by Cape Banks Bridge and Cruwee Cove Beach.
The Cape Banks Walking track was a pleasant walk with lots of ocean breeze. We exited the track at the intersection of Henry Head Lane and Cape Banks Road, in order to make our way back to the car. We were able to cover 4.7km in 1.25hrs.
