It's a beautiful little beach on the river side of pittwater. Very family friendly, usually those with small children visit. There are some beautiful old gum trees for shade and some lovely bench sesting along the grassed area. It's very picturesque. The view of the boats bobbing up and down as the water moves is wonderful, and it's not a very busy place. U pay for parking, and there's not a lot of it. There r public toilets, and they r reasonably clean. There r bbqs and picnic tables available in a tree covered area. A shower for washing the salt and sand off. It's not very busy through the week. The weekends may be different in summer. There r signs saying no dogs on the beach as u get to the sand, but there is one as u enter the parking lot saying dogs must be on leash. We had our dog on a leash and stayed in the grass area. I'm not sure if we were doing the right thing, but he was leashed, and we were on the grassed area, not on the sand. I used to take my children here when they were very young, as there are no big waves, just little ones that lap at the sand where they could play with the sea shells and seaweed that was washed on to it. Lots of wonderful childhood memories were made here. My girls still go here with me on occasions, and Enjoy the simplicity...

Relaxing Sunday afternoon drive around in new area recently moved to. Quiet, leafy plenty of flora and fauna. Bay Area in one side and Pacific Ocean on the other. There was a cute little cafe still open and serving its Sunday “roast only “ lunch . As we were only enquiring & I’m a vegetarian it didn’t quite suit but the receptionist was nonetheless very informative as to further options regarding futures plans should we wish to dine there. There’s public parking down there where kayaking seems to be the sport of choice , with bbq areas, benches /tables. However it’s the first place I’ve seen that refuses entry of pooches! Throughly lovely area with seemingly...

This is a great little beach that is well-thought-out with barbecue facilities, shade, toilets, and a lovely sandy shore . It's an ideal afternoon swimming spot and watch the sunset. Rex and I had a great time.

Very pleasant non surf beach with a strip of grass where you can sit in the shade. Water temperature very warm in late December. Great for little kids. Shallow water and only a gentle slope.
