This Cook Park is on the west side of the Kyeemagh Beach . The beach is so long , overlooking the harbour . A very special Bronze Ship Statue stands by the beach side. Look at the small words on the base of the statue, it tells us the history of the " First Voyage of the First Fleet ", how & when the HMS Sirius fleet completed their journey . From Fortsmouth UK on 13th May 1787 to Sydney Cove on 26 Jan 1788. You can find all the names of the Navy on board on this statue too. This is really interesting to know ! this makes the Park more meaningful.....not only a very long beach. This is part of Australia's history. #CookPark

If you're looking for a nice place to relax, to go for a walk and cool down, Cook Park is the place to be. Cook Park offers you amazing views with the Beaches on the side, a beautiful trail that goes from San Souci up to Brighton-Le-Sands that you can go by foot or ride your bike. There are a plenty of spots for Picnic along this stretch, including Playgrounds. There are also plenty of spots for fishing. It can get very busy, especially on Summer evenings at this park but gives you that amazing family and friend vibes all around you. Car Park is also very accessible and plenty of spots for parking.

Lovely quiet beaches in the week days to just to seat, relax, have a swim or just enjoy the breeze ,and watch the sunset or planes. So close and easy to get to. The beaches are not patrolled so exercise caution when swimming, relatively calm safe beaches with not much waves. Kite surfing beach close by ,always good to watch the Kite surfers doing their stuff on windy days. Can be hard to find parking on hot summer weekends ,so visit early in the day or come in the late afternoon when beach goers are leaving. Even though parking maybe full ,the beach is hardly ever crowded like say Bondi.

Cook Park is a beautiful coastal park located in the suburb of Ramsgate. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike, offering a range of recreational activities and amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park is home to a variety of lush trees and plants, providing a tranquil and serene atmosphere for visitors to relax and unwind in. However, despite its many charms, there is one notable drawback to Cook Park - the gentlemens' toilets have no soap. This can be a bit of a nuisance for those who are looking to wash their hands after using the facilities, and it is something that the park management should definitely look into addressing. Despite this issue, Cook Park remains a beloved destination for many, and its stunning natural beauty, combined with its convenient location and diverse range of amenities, make it well...
