Nice and quiet park - has a Ginger Meggs Loop connected to Blue Gum Walk at a stone's throw. In my opinion, Ginger Meggs Loop is very suitable for people want 10-15 min of short walk in green.

You can see ducks and other birds in the loop.

However, I noted someone advised to feed ducks at the loop

BUT,

Please do NOT follow this advise. I am quite surprised to see some people still advising others to feed wild animals.

Please do NOT feed animals including ducks or what so ever. Your food is Not their normal diet so your food will make them sick. Also, this practice will make animals become aggressive and eventually attack people to get food when they are hungry.

Really beautiful. Blue gum walk was around 2 hours. We just did a bit of it. Lots of great shade under the trees for a hot sunny day. Took my dog who loved it.

If you are trying to find a parking place and entry point to go the Blue Gum bush walk trekking in Hornsby, this is a good place where you start and end there.
