Majestical spot for looking out over the Blue valley. There's something in the trees that makes the colour and creates the magic. You know it, right? Too high for me but my diseased brain won't let me peer over the edge - honestly, it's not a cowardice thing. Fresh air, steep stairs, burnt out Banskia men and the ever present whipping and snapping of whip birds and magpies make this place a paradise of sorts. The look out is very easy for everybody even a physically weak can challenge the path. Just close from parking at mattlled road, a few steps. Read moreI went here for the first time today (August 3rd 2020) with my wife. We parked up, started from Leura Park and walked through the bush to the lookout. There hadn’t been much rain this week but the falls were still beautiful to look at. It is easy to get here, nice steps to get down and a nice flat platform lookout to take in the view of the valley and the falls.
