Hawkesbury Showground — Attraction in Sydney

The Hawkesbury Showground has to be one of the best showgrounds we have ever visited, our caravan clubs stay at many showgrounds around the country, but this one is exceptional. Great powered sites, large and very clean amenities, friendly staff. As a bonus to us there was a Pony Club Gymkhana on all weekend, also show jumping and dog tials so we were kept entertained all weekend. I attended the showgrounds to camp for a dog show a few weeks back. The facilities were way better than I expected and they even had beautiful and a very newly built shower and toilet block which was available to us 24/7. There was a big enclosed dog run available too which was a lifesaver for us as we had a number of dogs traveling with us and this allowed me to exercise them safely and responsibly. Had an awesome time at the Hawkesbury Show this year. Didn’t go to the Royal Easter Show so figured we would pop out to this one instead. Amazing turnout was really nice to see so many people around. Very different to the Royal Easter Show, everyone was more friendly and casual. Super interactive which was great for the little one.

Was a little windy so if you’re going I would pack a wind breaker for sure. Parking was easy (took a little while to get through though).
