It's a cute, reasonably quiet area that I've been coming to ever since I moved into the area 20yrs ago. Definitely more user friendly now compared to when the dam was empty (though I remember it was pretty fun riding my bike through the empty dam and over makeshift jumps people had made). There's plenty of spots to sit, cute little garden beds, a small playground for young children, a lookout to see over the dam, and access to fresh water for people and pets.

I will say, if you're taking your dog up make sure to have a collapsible bowl for them to drink out of because the tray/bowl up there doesn't drain properly and is...

It's a small lake and beautiful walkway surrounding it. Lot many turkeys are playing in the water.. but is really very filthy-- there seems to be no cleaning of this lake. It's little on the hill so going up and down the hill gives you beautiful workout. There is overlooking Blue mountain range. Feels good to be there at the time of sunset. Reaching to this reserve has a beautiful pathway which is lined up by plenty of trees which gave an awesome look in the Autumn with...

One of the best views for a sunset in all of the Hills District. And for those who don’t like sunsets (are you crazy?) there is also a lovely pond full of ducks and other water fowl. The paths around the pond are paved and the small play structures for the kids are in great condition. I would recommend bringing insect repellent if you’re there in spring time, as there can be swarms (SWARMS!!)...

Sunset view from this place especially in Spring is awesome. It has a small pond and is good for duck watching as well! Good for picnics and long walks. It has a small kids play area and covered picnic area too! Walkable distance to hear by IGA/ food takeaway places if you are planning to spend a long time as well. Spring time is the most suitable time of the year to watch the sunset from this place.

Best view of 🌞 set in the Hills district. Nice, quite area - you can walk, jog, exercises, do yoga or walk with 🐕. A great views to the Blue 🏔️, view 🦆 and 🐦 in the pond. Listen and enjoy beautiful birds. A good place to sit and look at the sorrounding and 🌟 gazing. Come for a large family picnic or for a romantic lunch. BBQ, play area for kids with swing and small slide.
