I love this place, because the staff are so nice, the service is cheery, the music is good but not too loud, and the coffee is quality. When I ordered tea on one visit, they asked what type I wanted (unsurprising) and then it came in a cute little teapot as PROPER LOOSE TEA! Amazing! This is my indicator of a good cafe. And those little cakes (petits-fours?) are amazing works of art with their flowers, gilding and tiny macarons on top. I just marked them down 1 star today, reluctantly, because it was still very cold in the back of the cafe at 8am where I thought Iâd be away from the draughty entry. And I like the cold. Just wear a warm coat and boots/scarf on cold mornings! The other thing was that I donât thing an almond croissant can be warmed in a microwave: it goes all chewy, as expected. It wasnât over-heated at least, and they did ask me if I wanted it warm first which was good; perhaps thereâs no way to do it in an oven/warmer/sandwich press in a small cafe, which is quite believable, so I wouldnât bother choosing that in future. Plenty of other options though!
This is a great little shopping centre to visit overall - do your groceries at the same time as they have a huge range of deli items and unique tempting foods what a great local shopping centre - I wish we lived here! Locals, given them your...
Read moreToday's experience at The Dining and Co Beaumont Hills was extremely disappointing. I ordered prawn pasta and a kids meal chicken nuggets, totaling $37. After paying by card, the older Asian female owner did not provide a receipt or communicate with me. Sensing something was off, I requested a receipt. Upon returning to my table, I discovered she had charged my card $63.54!
Returning to the counter, I informed the owner of the overcharge, expecting it to be a mistake. However, she showed no remorse, simply correcting the charge without an apology. This made me realize it was intentional, as evidenced by her reluctance to provide a receipt until prompted.
This dishonest behavior has led me to immediately decide not to continue dining here and I will not return in the future. I urge others to always request a receipt and double-check charges when...
Read moreIâve ticked dine in as that was what I attempted to have. Walked in this morning and waited at the âwait to be seatedâ sign. While several take away customers then walked up to be served. Still waiting I thought I better approach the counter and asked for a menu. Was handed one eventually but not told you has to order at the counter. So waited 5 minutes at the table and scanned the menu and eventually saw the fine print at the bottom to order at the counter. So I walk up and approach the counter. First one customer then another take away customer walks up to my right and places the order. The lady at the counter makes eye contact l, sees me holding the menu and proceeds to take more orders of people walking in. Assume I had my invisibility cloak on. I handed her the menu and left....
