We visited Tamborine as part of a (tour guided group), and 100% hands down glad we did. Our guide was so knowledgeable on the parks history, it was amazing to listen and be absorbed in the parks rich history, as he told the group stories. What an educational experience listening - about the (wangeriburra people), who lived on the mountain and where the first owners. The lime trees & their history connected to the name Tamborine. To the volcano that erupted over 10 million yrs ago, to the Dinosaurs that walked the mountains. Truly and amazing educational experience. 10/10 for our tour guide.
Highly recommend a tour guide around Tamborine to all young and old, who have an appreciation for history.
Definitely will revisit, when we next pop...
