This is one of the 60 Great Short Walks of Tasmania that begins at Fortescue Beach and ends at the dramatic sea cliffs at Cape Hauy of the Tasman National Park. It can be done on independently or as part of a multi-day Three Capes Track.
The out-and-back trail is roughly 9.3km and fairly challenging. Much of the trail is through the nice woodland and hillside environs. Once you reach the Cape, you begin to climb and see the steep sea cliffs, dolerite columns and sea stacks. Views are dramatic and stunning.

But it is still a good track to strengthen your physical conditions and enjoy the singular rocks along the shore. I suggest you to reserve 4~5 hours for this track if you plan to see the glorious rocks in your life. By the way, the road to this beach is unsealed and bumpy. You have better drive slowly. We saw one car had flat tire when my wife drove us...
