Very nice spot . Don’t drive past . Just stop and enjoy the view . The place is on the side of road where u can pull over . Very close to Highfield Historic Site car park .

Can you imagine being confined in this structure? Convicts were sheltered from the harsh elements in this building. The views to The Nut at Stanley are magnificent. You can now easily climb over the fence - there are steps nailed into the fence...

The ruins are part of Highfield Historic site with a beautiful garden and amazing views of The Nut and Stanley. One can also visit the buildings on site for a small fee. Free parking is available...
