Great beach, shallow and very clear water, great for kids and amazing that you can bring dogs.
There is a bit of rocky hike up and over the headland but if you have a moderate level of fitness it's fine.
You can also make your way round Long Beach which is beautiful also and both are great options for snorkelling.
If you make it round to Long Beach you can also cut through about half way down and follow the airstrip back to where the ferries arrive, it makes a nice loop and saves having to back up and over...

The walk down there was dreadful, it’s extremely steep and involves climbing over big rocks and tree roots. Zero signs to help you find the trail and several times we encountered a t junction and had to guess which way to go.
