The view is absolutely 5 stars, it is breath taking please visit, however for a wedding ceremony be careful, we booked in Feb 21, contracts exchange, money paid however when Nov 22 came around our stylist called us an hour and a half before our ceremony was meant to start to say another wedding had out timeslot... The management of the location didn't handle it very well and told our guests who had arrived at the location 'things happen'. Thankfully we had amazing vendors who sorted it and were able to make it happen for us, just delayed. I never received another phone call back from the management even though I was told I would. The open air setting nestled under towering palms on the sandy shore of Smith's Lake, Tiona is simply beautiful. There is a spiritual serenity enveloping the cathedral that turns one's thoughts to a greater presence. Travelling north from Sydney, the diversion along Lakes Way from Buladelah to Forster is a rough stretch of road, but well worth a pothole or two if you stand in the Green Cathedral and reflect on your life.
