But the real charm lies in what’s nearby. Don’t forget your swimmers–whether you prefer the beach or a sheltered lake, both are just a stone’s throw away. Seven Mile Beach offers gorgeous sand and whale watching in the winter. Wallis Lake is perfect for relaxing beneath a tree or launching the kayak for a cool afternoon paddle.
You can even hike along the Booti Hill and Wallis Lake walking track, which includes scenic lookouts and a direct link to Elizabeth Beach - perfect for surfing and seasonally patrolled. Keep your eyes open for graceful shore birds along the challenging walk.

Amazing sunrise as you can see in the picture! It's a family place, there were some people drinking and listening to music about, but they were respectful and not loud at all. The beach close to the campground, one mile beach I think is the name is pretty good for surfing and you won't get too many people in the water as well, which is perfect! Or maybe just pitch you tent real close and be ready to jump in st first light in the morning, you probably going to have the beach and the waves for yourself ( if I'm not there of course, otherwise we would have to share) . I don't recall the price per night, but it was a pretty standard price, not real cheap but also not overpriced. I really liked the place and enjoyed the surroundings! The beach, the walks, the lake. Read moreLocated in the Booti Booti national park, One visit to this place and you’ll want to come back. Beach is just across the road, you can hear the sea roars while you are in campsite. There are more beaches and lakes around for many water activities. Access to the campsite is straight forward, map gives clear directions. There are over 80 campsites, so its a big campground, but a very popular one in peak time. You will definitely spot kookaburras and iguana in the campsite. There are few other campgrounds close by but they are comparatively expensive. There are clean flush toilets(6) that are located in the campground. There is hot showers and some space for washing utensils and things. There are two barbecue huts. There is a grade 3 walk, which starts just across the road.
