Logans Beach Whale Nursery — Attraction in Victoria

We stayed in Warrnambool for 4 nights in July ‘21 and made a trip each day to catch a glimpse of the whales in their natural habitat. The first day was the best sighting as the whale was very close to shore.

The viewing platform provides amazing views of the ocean and whales. Do wear warm clothing as you are facing the open ocean.

Lovely beach to take the dog! Waves can be a little rough at times, but great for surfing when the conditions are right. Beach is generally quite quiet but also with plenty of open space during the busier times. Worth a stop off to give the dog a run around.
