We can view the skull island from this beach. If we go to the walk that goes above the beach, the view of the entire beach was splendid, few people were surfing and it was surrounded by rocks, plants and sea. All in one location. You can start the board walk from the Tidal car park and can walk till the beach through any of the walking trails

This beach is close to Tidal River within short walking distance from the camping site. At night you’re able to see sky full of stars, also a great spot for sunset watching. There are boat trips departing from Norman Beach regularly. The sand on this beach is not as fine as Squeaky Beach but still really good!

Stunning views and a pleasant walk from the visitors centre. The beach itself is quite exposed and can result in a huge sand blast if it's a particularly windy day. The sand is almost untouched and the bay is surrounded by wonderfully green cliffs. Plenty of bird wildlife in the area.

Love Norman Beach, just breathtaking and will always be a favourite getaway.

Everyone please take your rubbish with you, it's a shame to see people being so careless. We all came to enjoy nature's beauty so bring a rubbish bag to carry with you on the way out. Bins and restroom aren't that far from the beach.

I wish something could be done about the sloped entry/exit though, specifically second ramp. We went on a hot day and walking up the fine, sloped sand wasn't fun when my feet were being scorched whilst carrying all the things to make for a fun day at the beach. It made me panic a little as it was that hot! I'd recommend dragging your beachwares on boogie boards instead of those beach carts, everyone with a cart was in...

Norman Beach at Wilsons Promontory near Melbourne is a coastal haven that seamlessly blends pristine beauty with coastal tranquility. The ivory sands stretch as far as the eye can see, meeting the azure waters of the Bass Strait. The rhythmic lull of the waves creates a soothing melody, inviting you to unwind and connect with nature. The surrounding coastal vegetation adds a touch of wilderness to the scenery. Whether you're strolling along the shoreline, enjoying a seaside picnic, or witnessing the sun dip below the horizon, Norman Beach offers a picturesque escape from the urban hustle. It's not just a beach; it's a symphony of sea, sand, and serenity that...

The best beach I’ve ever been to. The waves were so awesome and huge. If you have younger children I suggest you stick to Tidal River (not the main beach) due to heavy currents and large waves, but still you can bring them there. Very often you will find that there are rips and currents so that would not be good for younger kids. Please be aware of the snakes. This has nothing to do with the beach but just trying to spread the word that snakes lerk quite often in the tall grass following the path...
