For those who need directions and advice. Drive behind the brewery cross over the bridge and keep driving! Do not walk the first fire trail behind the brewery. Turn right in your car and follow a skinny road right around and up the hill to the very top of the road past all the houses. Park at the top. start walk behind gate and 100m from there is the Start of myrtle falls track. Please be aware** as people have said this waterfall is only 10 mins walk yes.... but that's to the waterfall only. Turn around and go back to the carpark from there if you want a short walk. As the track itself continued is long and unphill and actually a 4km loop back to the carpark and takes 1hr to 1.5hrs to complete for a semi fit person. The signage is pretty bad. The track in clockwise direction just goes up and up it is steep but it will level out at the top. When it does you get to a fire trail you can turn left to the cabin or right to go back down the hill. The down hill is steeper and dry and slippery with rock pebbles. Be careful. Please note on this trail to turn right about 2/3rd down to get back to the carpark. The sign doesn't tell you which way at the fork but it's right. Follow the lovely grass pastures next to the fire road and back towards the start of the track from there you can see the carpark. Hope this helps someone as you can easily get...

It was nice to start out in the jungle and ascend among the trees, then make it back to the car in half the time, but if you have weak knees, you might appreciate the steps on your way down rather than up, in which case I'd recommend doing it counterclockwise. Either way, it's a...
Read moreAn easy short walk from Old Farm Track parking area to such a beautiful spot! Keep an eye out for the track leading down to Secret Falls 😉 The falls will be flowing most in late winter/spring. Visited midday during the week & only passed one other person, so is very peaceful.
