2 Reviews here: Firstly, if I could give more the 5 stars, I would to the Food Truck business, that is parked in the Greens Pool carpark, Nary the lovely lady that is the Owner of My Favorite Kitchen Asian and Western foods food truck, OMG the best Crispy Chicken Sushi I have ever eaten, I could see the quality of all the food it was so delicous. Nary is such a lovely lovely lady as well, I told her her food is amazing and so good, I could have ate so much haha. Nary said she only uses premium quality foods, and the cost maybe higher, but I did not care, her food is worth everycent, and I was going home well fed with a long 5.5hr journery ahead of us. There are many selections which is good and caters to everyone, so good to eat on beach as well. Food available was fruit salads, rolls, all Aussie foods and the Sushi's, good cold drinks, support this lovely lady, you can see her passion for her business and catering to people, she is clean, and the good food she sells, wish I could bring her and her food truck to Perth hahaha. 2nd Review - Love, loved the Greens Pool most beautiful beach I have visited in WA, as a resident, that lives 5.5hrs south from here, and the first time we had ever been there, truly magical place, love the rocks, it is just majestic, mother nature finest. I cannot stop thinking about how beautiful it was, and so glad we experienced it. We went on Friday 23 March and the day was beautiful 27c, we could have stayed all day, so relaxing sitting on the perfect white sand, the water was cool but so beautiful and clear. We walked the rocks, scary at first for me, being scared of heights, and I did it, with the help of my partner holding my hand, or pulling me up hahahah, we ventured along many rocks, and you can sit on the edge and enjoy the water, or swim out, and have some protection from the indian ocean waves. After we did the rock walk, and went back to sit on beach, we noticed many people mainly older people struggle with getting down the rocks, either walking straight down or bumdraggin, big tip here, walk sideways slowly down the rocks, and it is actually easier coming down then going up, so walk sideways to get down, and watch the shiny rocks, very slippery This destination is worth every moment, when you reach the top of rocks, and see the ocean. So happy we went to see and explore and it was an amazing day, with so many beautiful photos to keep for our memories, We are going back again to spend more time there in the future. Happy...
Read moreGreens Pool in Williams Bay near Denmark was nothing short of a revelation during my recent visit. From the moment I set eyes on this stunning lagoon, I understood why the locals flock to this picturesque spot year-round—because honestly, it's a swimmer’s paradise! The crystal-clear waters were so inviting that I felt compelled to dip my toes in immediately. It was my wife, an ocean swimmer through and through, who truly embraced the calm, safe waters. With nary a “nobby clark” or jellyfish in sight, she swam with the kind of joy that can only come from knowing she was in such secure conditions. As for me, the sight of the abundant marine life practically lured me into snorkelling, and I was rewarded with an incredible variety of fish. As I floated amongst the outer rocks, I felt completely at ease, thoroughly enjoying the diverse underwater spectacle. The beauty of Greens Pool was astonishing, and I wasn’t alone in thinking so. First-time visitors seemed spellbound, their cameras snapping away at every angle. I couldn’t blame them; my own pictures didn’t quite capture the awe-inspiring scene before us. It's the kind of beauty that makes you say, “No photo does this justice," and that’s precisely what I thought. One should be mindful of the slight current in the area, particularly at the western end where it can get a bit stronger. A spot of advice for future visitors: keep an eye on the tides, and you'll do just fine. Parking was ample when we arrived early, around 6:30 AM, just as the locals were finishing up their morning swims. It filled up rather quickly, so that early rise was well worth the effort. For those in need of a quick breakfast or a caffeine fix, I found “My Favourite Kitchen,” a food van parked conveniently in the main car park most days. The cappuccinos were a delightful way to start the day, paired with a bite to eat while taking in the remarkable sights around us. Access to Greens Pool is straightforward, with a gentle slope leading down to some steps that take you right to the beach. Just a little word of caution: if you’re considering bringing a trolley, it might be a tad tricky navigating the steps. In summary, Greens Pool left a lasting impression. It's a beautiful spot that calls for exploration, relaxation, and a dose of nature's splendour. A true gem that I would recommend to anyone seeking a serene swim in the middle of a...
Read moreFifteen kilometres west of Denmark is the magical Greens Pool! Greens Pool is located on the edge of William Bay National Park and is famous for its turquoise green waters and pristine white sandy beach. Large granite boulders surround the pool, protecting it from the Southern Ocean and there is a short walk that links Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks.
Beautiful all year, Greens Pool is especially popular in summer. The calm waters are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, relaxing on the beach or on the rocks overlooking the water and many fish and sea creatures live in the calm waters. Children's swimming classes takes place in Greens Pool each summer, and is the ideal place to learn open-water swimming. You will notice the gradual slope as you wade into the water, allowing children to experience the ocean in a safe and comfortable spot without crashing waves.
Note, there are many stairs down to Greens Pool Beach. The carpark and entrance to Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks, Madfish Bay, Waterfall Beach and the rest of William Bay National Park has been recently redeveloped and now includes toilets and changing facilities. An extremely popular beach to...
