Longreach Bay — Attraction in Western Australia

1st time away from Thomson's Bay and it was a nice change to stay in the Villas on Longreach Bay. There's a Cafe and General Store as well as 4 or 5 beautiful Bays. Geordie Bay, Fay's Bay, The Basin and Longreach Bay all surrounding the villas, which were very comfortable. They all have gas heating in a faux woodfire box. Nice for winter getaways. You'll need a bike as it's about 2.5 ks...

Wonderful place. The water is so clear and cool. Snorkelling, swimming and sun bathing are the things that must be done here. You can see fishes swimming around and if you are lucky enough you can catch them with bare handed. Well of course we dont do that cos we do not want to spoil such beautiful ecosystem here.

The bottom line is it is a must...

What a beautiful beach. Long white sand and crystal clear water. Such a perfect sport for picnic with a tent or big umbrella, swimming and kayaking. I rate only 4 star because on that day, the sun was too hot to stay without shed. It could of cause high fever and dehydration. So would be better if had trees or shed...
