We flew all the way from Sydney to Perth and drove 15hrs to experience the jaw dropping beaches of Esperance and it did not disappoint! Lucky Bay has been on my list for years and I’m glad this lived up to expectations. I can’t even describe to you how insane the colour of the water looks. The photos I uploaded have not been tweaked at all. It’s just out of this world and I’m glad we made the long journey to see it. We didn’t see any kangaroos but that didn’t spoil our visit. Instead we came across what looks like a brown snake on the rocks. Haha so just be careful where you sun bake! If you stroll over to the western side of lucky bay you can walk up the rocks very easily and you can do a complete loop. You’ll see when you arrive. Good spots to snorkel around there too.

Likely the most overrated beach in Australia. Yes, there may be tame kangaroos here and the water is just as beautiful as at all the other beaches in the national park. But this one is by far the dirtiest, crowded and Diesel-smelling of all. On a busy day youā€˜ll be having 4WDs cruising by every other minute. Thereā€˜s a large parking lot available within 2 mins walking distance of the beach, yet cars line up on the sand as if it were a Woolies carpark lmao. Ridiculous! The endless piles of dried seaweed make it really hard to stage a good looking photo. Iā€˜ve taken some more realistic ones, attached to this review.

The temperature that day was around 23°C, which was very comfortable, and there were no flies. It was a bit cold when we first got into the sea. The sand is very fine and hard, so you can drive your car directly onto the beach. This place is perfect for staying 4-8 days or even longer for deep exploration and relaxation. The trip was a bit rushed this time, but the few hours we had were already very enjoyable. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any kangaroos, but hopefully, we’ll encounter some next time we visit.

This is the best beach i have been to! the whitest, softest and finest powdery sand, turquiose waves that ceaselessly lap the heavenly beach. To top it all off, you are greeted by friendly kangaroos that hop around the beach. You can find them any time of the day, we were there for over 2 hours from 10am and the kangaroos were there all along. The water was cool and refreshing, no one else had entered the water so i did not wade too far from the beach but upto the point i did it was safe and shallow! Lucky bay is a must visit, it is enchanting and sensational. There is no other place in the world...
