So my puppy right. He's a total knob when it comes to being a good boy. Don't get me wrong. Love the guy to bits. But he is kinda an Ah. So I took him here to get groomed but apparently there was a huge communication blunder. Let's skip back to the start of the day: 7am. I woke up then went back to sleep. 708am: The dog and baby both woke up so I couldn't get back to sleep. Now buffalo dog was on the smelly side, so I washed him. This task was undertaken very well. Then I let him outside. 710am: He found some dirty patch of mud (summer in Perth, God knows how he found it), rolled in it, then became a blackened Retriever. 715am: Bath 2 of the day. This was successful again post more scrubbing, however, I realised that the guy needed a proper wash because I hadn't actually seen my floor in the past 5 days under a glorious golden mat of hair. I made an appointment. 3pm. I arrive at this dog park and it's amazing. Fully fenced many other friendly dogs and owners all of whom where very chatty and delightful. The only item missing was a dog groomer. Who after a quick phone call turned out to be in another state. Lots of apologies. Now Walter has a thing where every ounce of training goes out the window when he is distracted. So from the view of an innocent bystander, this is what they would have seen. A golden retriever run by with a very unfit and tried out owner of whom was in no shape to undertake manual labour, running about 40m behind. The the prementioned golden retriever once again finding the only puddle of water within 8kms and leaping into it. Lol you're all thinking, it must stop there. He then found a lovely family that he tried to adopt by way of shaking mud water all over them. The innocent bystander would then of seen a very tired and possible cardiac arrest owner catching up and apologise galore. 430pm: My ute is clean the dog is clean and socialised post bath 3. His owner is not satisfied with the day, however very satisfied with the dog park. Zombie rating: 10/10. High fences, double gates, lots of area to land a helicopter, building cover near by. Water near by. Go this place.

Love this dog park i have never experienced issues with others dogs here. Every time i have been everyone has been friendly and respectful of each others animals. Great all round park. It literly has everything numltiple kids parks heaps of facilities spreay across a large area all dog friendly on lead. Ther are also 2 off lead parks a smaller one for smaller dogs and a bid one for massive dogs. The dog park heaps of facilites for dogs. There are agility areas, shaded areas under trees great for playing with other doggo's. There are plenty of parking either in front of the dog parks or between the kids park and dog park. Doggy poop bags at all entries. There is a walking track just inside the fence line which is about a 500m circuit. Just a few laps to get your daily kms done. There are regular drining fountains for us dogs all around the walking track. There is shelter under trees or specially built for the huumans. All of which has plenty of seating for them. The only down side of this park is the lazy huumans (or poorly trained) who dont pick up after their dogs. Lots of dog poop in the park and even on the walking track. There are even signs for both huumans and dogs. Overall I give this park 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴 It has it all.

I feel very saddened by my experience at this park. I have been quite a few times with my dog and no problems and he always off lead but with today in particular I was told by some guy emptying the bins (he was wearing a Whiteman park uniform so I presume he was a ground keeper) there that I had to leave with my dog because he was on the lead. May I note we have only just walked in and was going to take him off but the tram went past and we had stopped to watch it near the fence as my dog is a bit funny with the trams so we were reassuring him it was fine. Then the gentleman came up and asked why he was on the lead we explaineed why but was told it didn't matter the dogs needed to be off as soon as we got in the park. Now I'm not one to normally say anything but we had just walked in for heaven's sake and there was 2 other people further in the park with leads on there dogs walking around. They were not asked to leave or made to feel belittled either. I don't think I will return as it wasn't a very polite or respectable interaction and my first priority is my dog and his...
