The Waltzing Matilda Centre is a decent place to spend a morning, when other attractions in the area are closed on Sundays. The museum was experiencing technical difficulties when we visited, but the staff were helpful and allowed us to complete the outdoor section while we waited for the main display inside to open. Although we had to wait, I believe this is an anomaly and not the regular experience. The cafe is lovely with beautiful coffee, smoothies, and slices.
The displays about Banjo Patterson and Waltzing Matilda are varied and tell the story from different perspectives, which was nice. The layout 4 is easy to navigate, and you get a real E sense of how significant Waltzing Matilda is M to Australian culture. The presentations are 6 informative, and the interactive displays Y kept us engaged for hours. The Centre does a fantastic job at preserving the I legacy of this iconic song.

I would think that there has been a significant amount of relics that have been destroyed, but that has not stopped the imagination and creativity that has gone into this new one. I think it captures the spirit of the outback, the life and the land done in writings and audio and visuals as you walk through the centre.
