Bald Hill Lookout is simply breathtaking! It’s one of those places where the view makes you stop, breathe, and just take it all in. Overlooking the stunning coastline and turquoise waters of the Sea Cliff Bridge, it’s a must-visit if you're exploring the Grand Pacific Drive.
We went on a clear day, and the view was absolutely picture-perfect, cliffs, ocean, and sky blending beautifully. It’s also a popular spot for hang gliding, so you might even get to see the colorful gliders soaring above, which adds a magical touch to the whole experience.
There are plenty of spots to take photos, sit and relax, or just watch the waves roll in from up high. There's a small café and clean public facilities nearby, which makes it convenient too.

There's toilets, a cafe of sorts and the best part? An icecream truck, who haunts the place regularly. Even as a local, I still like to stop and take it all in, and I drive this way to work! Parking is free, and plentiful, just need to work on the crazy intersection, where the two straight roads have stop signs and the hill and 90° corner have right of way... seriously, put in a round about, the traffic would...
