The place? 5 stars. The people visiting? 1 star. Please follow the instructions in the sign. Glow worms are light sensitive. If you use flash and shine your torch on them, they can die. Shine your light straight down to the floor. Use red light whenever possible. Do NOT try to use light to "take a selfie". It needs to be dark for the camera to capture the glow worms. Focus on taking photos of the glow worms only. Long exposure, no lights! It's the min you can do to preserve this beautiful location. Also, it's always wet. Come with boots or bring an extra pair of shoes and trash bags so you can exchange them after getting them muddy.

Word of Caution: Bring Boots or some shoe protection. This place is very muddy. The train station has some blast from the past feels. There is also glow worms inside if you’re lucky. A bit of a different experience but nothing too spectacular that make you speechless. Would have been a solid 3 if not for the glow worms. If you’re near Helensburgh (probably because you are in Wollongong) might as well give it a visit but it is not a place worth traveling hours for just to visit.

Memorable and muddy. Park at the train station, it's a short walk. Make sure you have gumboots and spare shoes and trousers -- it's muddy in there and a number of standing pools that were too deep for an 8 year-old's gumboots. We got about 100m before the pools got too deep. We could see the exit, but there were still plenty of glow.worms.on the ceiling!. We'll go back again when it's drier.
